With initiatives such as Google Earth showing increased use among the home computer user, public awareness of, and interest in, the capabilities of Earth Observation satellites is increasing. What’s more, the industry is preparing to launch around 200 satellites by 2020 - more than double the total number of satellites launched over the previous decade. Consultants in this area predict this growth will be fuelled primarily by the private sector – so what’s happening right now?

If your abstract is accepted, you’ll be invited to create a poster that will highlight your work to the Satellite Systems and Applications Network and wider satellite community.
