ForestSat 2010 is a forum where researchers from different countries will present remote sensing techniques and methods that allow for the improvement of land and forest management. This conference will also provide an opportunity for users to give feedback about their needs and requirements for the development of future tools. The event will take place at the USC university campus in city of Lugo (Galicia, Spain), from the 7th to the 9th of September, 2010.

The 2010 conference is being organized by the Laboratorio do Territorio (LaboraTe), a research and teaching group at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), which incorporates teachers and researchers from diverse areas of knowledge and Forest Research, a forestry research centre based in Edinburgh (UK).
