DUTCH NEWS -  The number of local authority areas in the Netherlands has been reduced from 441 to 431 in 2010 because of mergers, the NRC reports on Friday. And the paper publishes a list of other new laws which come into effect. The Telegraaf published a similar list on Thursday.
