Norway has Produced Half of its Proven Oil and Gas Resources

BARENTS OBSERVER - An updated account of Norway’s resource shows that the country has produced half of its proven oil and gas resources in course of its 40 years of oil Klondike. The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate's (NPD's) resource account shows that 5.3 billion standard cubic meters of oil equivalents (scm o.e.) has been produced and that total remaining proven recoverable resources amount to 4.8 billion scm o.e., the directorate’s web site reads.
