First Assessment of Threatened Habitat Types in Finland Completed

FINNISH ENVIRONMENT AGENCY - It took five years to prepare the first Red List of habitat types in Finland and to assess the changes that have occurred in the last fifty years. A lot of information was collected on the Baltic Sea and its coast, on inland waters and shores, on rivers, mires, forests, rocky habitats, traditional rural biotopes and the fell area.
