WEAU - The state is mapping out its strategy for all things transportation into the year 2030. Thursday there was a meeting in Eau Claire for the Department of Transportation to get feedback on its plan, called "Connections 2030." It addresses all forms of transportation, including expanding intercity passenger rail. A group called West Central Wisconsin Rail Coalition is asking the DOT to consider adding Chippewa Valley Cities to that plan. Read More
