Professor Leads Study of Mountain Trail Ecology

RAMCIGAR -- The old adage, "seeing the forest from the tree" has more significance than ever for one professor at the University of Rhode Island. Yeqiao Wang, a professor of terrestrial remote sensing at URI, is leading a team of research scientists to study the changes of the Appalachian Trail ecosystem. The four-year $1.15 million project is being funded with a grant from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Earth Sciences division. Read More
