Twice the Size of P.E.I.: Canada's New National Park

CTV -  The federal government is creating a sprawling national park in an area of Newfoundland and Labrador that's home to threatened species of caribou, birds and other wildlife. Environment Minister Jim Prentice announced that Ottawa will set aside nearly 11,000 square kilometres in central Labrador to form Mealy Mountains National Park, the largest national park in eastern Canada.
