The study “Policy Scenarios V – towards a structural change; greenhouse gas emissions scenarios up to 2030“, conducted on behalf of the UBA by a research consortium led by the Öko-Institut, shows that Germany can reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 43% by 2020 compared to 1990. A reduction of even almost 60% could be achieved by 2030.
