PR - The ESDIN (European Spatial Data Infrastructure Network) eContentplus project, co-funded by the European Union, will address the requests and challenges of the INSPIRE directive by creating a practical test of the theory of integrating National Spatial Data Infrastructures (NSDIs) to provide Europe with a framework of geographic reference information or in other words a European Spatial Data Infrastructure for which INSPIRE is the legal instrument. The project website (available here) provides an overview of the project and the attached documents provided further information. A meeting (see agenda) will be held on 12th February 2009 at Institut Geographique National in Saint Mand?, France, situated just outside Paris, to establish Reference Groups to support this work. Participants - potential members of reference groups are welcome (see?invitation).? To register your interest in Reference Group activity and to indicate that?you are able to attend the meeting, complete your details online (see registration), ideally no later than 16th January 2009.
