MEOST 2008 is the first industry led marine exhibition in the vibrant Middle East market to showcase new technology, products, services and solutions from the seafloor to sea surface. MEOST will feature new equipment, training and live demonstrations of the most current technology available to the growing ocean science and marine technology industry.
Presented by FUGRO and endorsed by the Society of Maritime Industries (SMI), MEOST will bring together thousands of worldwide buyers and users of marine products.
Set alongside the exhibition will be the MEOST Global Conference. The world’s leading experts and academics in marine science and ocean technology will assemble at the conference to address the latest issues relating to renewable energy from the oceans, marine oil and gas exploration and extraction and marine construction. MEOST 2008 is co-located with World Future Energy Summit under the patronage of H.H. General Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Combined, the two events will deliver in the region of 15,000 visitors, 1500 conference delegates and over 300 exhibitors.
