GeoCAD’08
Scientific Conference with International participation
Organised by
“1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia – Faculty of Sciences
University of West Hungary – Faculty of Geoinformatics, Székesfehérvár
O.C.P.I. of Alba County
Date of the conference: 9 - 10 May 2008
Venue: “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia,
Street N. Iorga nr.11-13, Building “C”
The primary aim of the conference is to give an opportunity to the Romanian and foreign experts,
researchers and PhD students to present their latest results as well as to meet, establish and cultivate personal
and professional relations.
The conference will start with the plenary session at and will continue its work in the following fields:
Geodesy, Topography, Cadastre and Land registry
Duration of presentations: max. 20 minutes (only oral presentations are accepted)
Official language of the conference: Romanian and English (in case the presentation is given in Romanian,
a transparency in English is required)
Registration Fee: 100 EUR, which includes the organisational costs, the presentation of one paper, the price of
one proceedings and the cost of the reception
100 RON for Romanian participants which includes the organisational costs, the
presentation of one paper, the price of one proceedings and the cost of the reception
Deadlines:
♦ Registration on-line, submitting the abstract: 10 March 2008
♦ Participants shall be informed about the acceptance of papers by: 31 March 2008
♦ Transferring the registration fee and the paper in extenso 15 April 2008
♦ Registration for the conference: 9- 10 May 2008
