France's professional body for licensed surveyors, the Ordre des
géomètres-experts, has decided to give its next conference a European
dimension by holding it in Strasbourg.
The conference is being organised in partnership with the two European
surveyor organisations, the CLGE (Council of European Geodetic
Surveyors) and GE (Geometer Europas, of which the OGE is currently
chair).
The main aim of this European conference is to raise awareness of the
surveying profession and increase its exposure among the various
European institutions and EU consumers generally, both in France and
across Europe.
