Expectations for environmental innovations and new technology are
already high for the 11th biannual Eco-Tech Scandinavia environmental
technology trade show on October 7-9, 2008 in Göteborg.

Eco-Tech Scandinavia
is an international meeting place that provides you with the
opportunity to bring in new business and keep up to speed on
developments in the whole environmental sphere. Swedish environmental
technology is well to the fore in areas such as bioenergy, waste,
recycling and sustainable development in society. The exhibition will
feature new solutions for sustainable development and act as a platform
for discussions on environmental work from a wide range of perspectives.
Late last autumn, 116 exhibitors, 2,600 visitors and 1,665 companies
gathered for three days in Göteborg at the Swedish Exhibition Centre
during Eco-Tech Scandinavia’s exhibition, which became an exciting
venue for meetings and business in environmentally oriented industries.
Besides European media coverage, Chinese television filmed the event, and a Chinese delegation attended.
“More
companies were represented than previously, and I think that the
environmental focus of the event as well as our matchmaking services
were reasons contributing to the overall increases,” says manager Ann
Åfeldt.
Eco-Tech Scandinavia 2008 – the eleventh of its kind – will
have a distinct business slant, and a strong focus on new technology
and innovations. It will be coupled with an international conference to
create a meeting place for the whole industry.
Eco-Tech Scandinavia will feature:
• Waste & Recycling
• Energy
• Transport
• Environmental Competence
• Air, Soil & Water
• Biogas Highway
• Innovation Street
