A Compelling Vision of an Augmented 3D City Interface

by Matt Ball on August 26, 2010

The trend toward overlaying our physical space with information is gaining ground, and there are a lot of different examples of what this future will look and feel like. Researcher Keiichi Matsuda provides a very compelling vision in the following video of what that future interface might look like, and he presents it in 3D. What’s most interesting is the morphing of the interface and information in the different contexts of a restaurant, walking, riding a train, and interacting with others.
