Radio frequency identification tags (RFID) enables the tracking of objects throughout the supply chain, but there are many more potential uses, including the tracking and monitoring of our behaviors. The current passive tags lack a power supply, and must pass through a reader in order to be tracked. But new active tags with internal batteries and the ability to transmit signals are becoming more common.
