The North American Cartographic Information Society (NACIS) will hold their annual meeting in Missoula, Montana from October 8-11. In addition to two full days of cartography-related workshops and presentations, this year’s event will feature a MapGiving event where talented cartographers will work together under deadline to produce a map for a deserving client. The high-energy mapping session will take place between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 4 a.m. Wednesday, with the map unveiled at the Wednesday Opening Session.
