The Colbert Report on Comedy Central ran a very entertaining interview last night with Bob Lutz, the vice chairman of GM about the new Chevy Volt. It was great to see Colbert needle Lutz about previous comments that disclaimed global warming, and it’s interesting to see a big business carefully discuss a green view. It’s just silly that there’s still such antagonism between the business and environmental crowds, particularly given the electric car’s win-win contributions for both business and the environment. The interview was a friendly banter back and forth about clean energy benefits, while also addressing some gearhead concerns.
