Just got word from the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) that there’s to be a Climate Change Integration Plugfest at the 2009 FOSS4G Conference in Sydney, Australia, Oct. 20-23. The demonstration is being pulled together by the OGC, the Australian Bureau of Meteorology and the Open Source Geospatial Foundation.
Details from the release indicate that the project will focus on the integration of data and systems to share decadal and multi-decadal climate change related data.
