Indian Students to Benefit from Expert Lectures via EDUSAT

A new laboratory is being developed at the University of Madras, department of geography, to receive lectures from experts at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) on remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS) and global positioning system (GPS). The laboratory will be made available to students in other departments, such as geology, applied geology, botany, sociology and sustainable development.
