Israel Launches Advanced Spy Satellite

On the same day that there’s news about an ailing U.S. satellite that may hit Earth, there’s news that Israel launched an advanced spy satellite that will be able to track events in Iran. The TECSAR satellite is equipped with a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) sensor, and it was launched from India aboard an Indian rocket.

What was interesting about that story. The pressure Iran was putting on India through their “friends” within India. They tried there best to have the launch scrubbed. In the end they did get the launch delayed.
