Job Opening for Congo Basin Forest Projects Manager

The World Resources Institute (WRI) is seeking a project manager to improve deforestation detection and quantification via remote sensing. The three-year project is part of the institute’s People and Ecosystems Program, and will focus on forest degradation in Cameroon and the Republic of Congo. The initiative uses remote sensing, GIS and mapping along with other forest-related information systems to monitor actions and improve sustainable forst management. The work is ongoing in the Congo Basin, Southeast Asia, and the Amazon Basin.
