An inventor from Maryland has proposed an innovative solution to the warming of our planet. His idea is to spray ‘gigatons’ of seawater into the air in arid areas of the Northern Hemisphere. The water vapor would cool the ground near where it is sprayed, and would transform into water vapor to create clouds that reflect sunlight.
According to this story in The National Chronicle, the geoengineering idea is gaining some weight, having been proven in climate models to have a measurable positive effect.

And what about the salt? Would the salt and other minerals settle to the surface of the earth and negatively impact the soils in that region?
Last time I checked the “mist” from jet planes’ exhaust were only making the global warming worse. This sounds like they are just trying to make that even worse.
