NASA Turns to Citizens to Map the Moon

NASA scientists are overwhelmed by the number of images that are being sent back by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, and as a result they’re turning to citizens to help analyze and map the moon’s surface. The task harnesses humans to review the images and identify each crater, boulder and linear feature that can be seen. View the video below to learn more about the aim of the Moon Zoo project.
