Exhibit Showcases History of the Mapping of New York’s Shoreline

The New York Public Library will celebrate the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson’s exploration and mapping efforts with an exhibit titled,  Mapping New York’s Shoreline, 1609-2009. The exhibit features a collection of rare maps, atlases and journals, and an animated Google Earth model. The exhibit will be located at The New York Public Library’s Stephen A. Schwarzman Building at Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street from September 25, 2009 to June 26, 2010.
