Norway Adds Research School for Remote Sensing

The University of Tromsø, Norway has added a new school called the Barents Remote Sensing School (BARESS). The school has received state funding and aims to become the leading national institution for earth observation technology. The focus of the school is for remote sensing studies of northern latitudes, with hopes to develop new technology for the study of the far north.
