Penn State Public Broadcasting (WPSU) is in the early stages of coordinating a PBS special on the Geospatial Revolution. The initiation of the project was made possible by the ASPRS foundation, and a short trailer video was displayed at the opening of the 75th Annual ASPRS Conference. The project will culminate with a 60- to 90-minute PBS broadcast program, as well as educational outreach, including an educational toolkit on DVD, and a website with information and additional resources. In these early stages the group is interested in puling together compelling story elements, but more importantly they’re in need of funding to push the program forward.
You can view the trailer and get involved by visiting the project here.
