National Geographic‘s MyWonderfulWorld.org is sponsoring a letter writing campaign to urge Congress to ‘put the world back into a world-class education.’ The site notes that geography is the ONLY subject that isn’t funded under No Child Left Behind, and that it’s time to notify Washington about the importance of geography. The letter-writing campaign has already exceeded 11,000 letters. Click here to add your voice.

Why did the AAG not start such a campaign. I thought it was big on “geography” not be in NCLB?
