The government of South Korea announced an investment of more than $38 Billion in “eco-friendly” projects over the next four years in what is being dubbed as “Green New Deals.” There are 36 projects that are outlined, including bicycle trails, natural gas production from land fills, water cleanup, and the creation of some two million energy-saving homes. The projects are also aimed at putting the economy back on track after recent setbacks in economic growth and an increased unemployment rate.
