A new Census data research center is set to open this month at Stanford University. The facility will supplement the research that is done at the University of California, Berkeley and will add to the string of such centers at top research schools such as Duke and Cornell.
The secure facility will study much more detailed Census data than what’s available publicly. Researchers at the facility will include those focused on sociology, public health and economics.
