The Sustainable Business Success conference will take place in New York City on Oct. 29. The event brings together an impressive list of companies and speakers that have grasped the business advantage of more efficient and earth-friendly operation.
The organizers for this event include Andrew Winston, co-author of Green to Gold, and a speaker who I saw recently at the BE Conference. Other speakers come from companies such as Wal-Mart, General Electric, BASF, Xerox and PepsiCo. The sessions topics address sustainable operations in purchasing, facilities management, transportation, logistics and IT.
This event recognizes that sustainability is becoming a key strategic business issue, and I’d guess that it’s on the forefront of the trend.
