Yesterday, President Obama delivered a memorandum for the heads of executive departments and agencies regarding transparency and open government. The memo outlines the position that government should be transparent, participatory and collaborative with the Internet as a key conduit for this information. The memo also outlines the role of the Chief Technology Officer in coordinating the Open Government Directive.
