PR - Intermap Technologies, a geospatial market leader proactively remapping
entire countries and building highly accurate digital elevation
datasets, has hired Adam Denman as vice president of strategic business
development Europe.

mapping,” said Denman. “I

throughout Europe derive significant benefit from our new technology
solutions and data products.”
Drawing on 15 years of experience managing international sales,
marketing, and business development at both a European level and
worldwide, Denman will takeover work in identifying European industry
segments for Intermap and develop strategies to meet the Company’s
evolving needs.

experience in the European and global marketplaces makes him a valuable
addition to Intermap’s executive team,”
said Walter Sedlacek, chief technical officer for Intermap. “His
background will help us expand our business within the traditional GIS
markets as well as advance the use of geospatial data for a number of
consumer markets, including automotive, insurance, Internet, and 3D
mapping.”
Denman most recently served as the director of business development at
automotive navigation system and telematics supplier Magneti Marelli,
where he negotiated new strategic relationships with foreign partners.
He also served as the vice president of strategic marketing at NAVTEQ,
where he helped define the digital map database provider’s
automotive strategy. Denman has also held leadership positions at
Johnson Controls and Visteon Corporation.
Denman has a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering and business studies from
the University of Bristol. He currently resides in France.
