PR -- Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG) announced today that the City of Evanston, Illinois has procured five (5) seats of LGcrimes from GTG’s LG GIS software suite.
LGcrimes is an affordable and easy-to-use crime reporting, mapping, and analysis software application designed for towns, cities, and counties of all sizes and complexities. LGcrimes aids in the visualization and analysis of police incident information. The spatial distribution of crimes will allow law enforcement professionals to maximize the use of departmental assets to satisfy the ever-growing demand for critical services. Public Safety departments with limited budgets and staff can now take advantage of crime analysis technology while leveraging their organization’s investment in GIS technology.
Curt Hinton, CEO of GTG, stated, “Evanston realizes that GIS is the way to get an immediate return on their records management investment. With LGcrimes they will be able to quickly visualize the location of all incidents and begin to make more informed and proactive policing decisions. GTG is very excited to work with Evanston and is looking forward to a partnership to make their community a safer place to live.”
