PR -- Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG) announces the release of GeoBlade Dispatch, a mapping interface that provides E-911 dispatchers with an interactive map displaying the location of emergency calls. GeoBlade Dispatch is ESRI compliant and operates with ArcGIS Server and pre-ArcGIS Server technologies.
GeoBlade Dispatch is highly customizable and allows dispatchers to enter special events to display on the screen. The application has the ability to perform historic call mapping, historic AVL mapping, and E-911 call mapping. GeoBlade Dispatch is AVL enabled and Phase II compliant.
GeoBlade Dispatch is one of many department-specific “blades” incorporated into the GeoBlade software suite. Blades are additional functionalities to the core viewer, specific to an agency’s departmental needs.
“GeoBlade Dispatch is the next generation of technology available to assist E-911 dispatchers,” said Curt Hinton, CEO of GTG. “With its address matching capabilities and live display of call locations, this application offers a return on investment that is second to none. GeoBlade Dispatch will improve the quality of customer service, saving time and lives in the process.”
