GIS – CAD – BIM – Integration for 3D

In the article ‘Moving to the Big City‘, Neil Brooker of Autodesk discusses how that company is moving toward the integration of GIS, CAD, and BIM information for the development of 3D digital cities. Included is reference to the new LandXplorer product.

Brooker points to the current interest on greater efficiency in building operations as a key driver to these new software developments.   He also identifies a need to design more efficiently and in a collaborative manner.
